Class of 2009!

My graduation was on Sunday, May 24th. It was supposed to be one of the happiest days on my life......and although it was a good day, I was not as excited as I thought I would be. I am not sure why though; my parents and grandparents were excited and even Matt's parents were excited. It was a good day, and I was excited but scared at the same time to make that step into the real world. I have been going to school my whole life and now I don't have to go to school.....it is really weird! Well, all and all it was a good day and here are a few pictures. I am looking forward to my party this weekend!

FINAL DAYS

It is absoultly thrilling to know that I have completed all my classes and thus all my finals. No more late nights of no sleep or sleeping in a chair at school just to get some shut eye before your next final. It is amazing to think back at what I went through to get the degree that I earned, and boy did I have to earn it! Now, well a sense of accomplishment. It may have taken me six years and a whole lot of stress, but I did it and I am proud to say that I earned a degree in Biological Science with a Concentration in Cellular and Developmental Biology.... not many people can say they did that. So ya I am proud of the fact that I did something not many people could do and I took some classes that most people don't even know what they are. I like school, I liked the classes I took and the people I met and I wouldnt change anything. I walk on Sunday, and after I look forward to the next chapter in my life!

Winter Wonderland

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Disneyland! It is one of my favorite places in the whole world to be. I especially love it during the christmas hoildays. The way they decorate everything with the light and holly and all the decorations is absolutly beautiful. So of course, this year I went to Disneyland over christmas break and it was once again a winter wonderland.

In January, my family along with my friend Cari went to mammoth to go skiing and snowboarding. Since it was my second time boarding I was a little nervous, but after I went It was the best sport I have ever tried. I love it. I go all the time now and it is such a blast.

Summer

I have been a horrible blogger. I never really have anything excited to write about so I just dont, but I decided to upload some pictures from over summer. There are pictures from the river, which is my second home! There are pictures from when I was asked to present my research at Stanford. That was kinda nerdy but since Stanford is so close to San Fransicsco my lab partners and I took a trip up to S.F. for the day. We went to Fishermans Warf and had a yummy salmon dinner. That was a lot of fun since I have not been there since I was a little girl. Well my summer was exciting to me, so I though I would share some of my pictures.

My birthday actullay fell on a Saturday this year, so I was totally excited. We went to this bar/resturaunt in Chino Hills called Roscos. The food was really good and since it was my birthday all my drinks were free!! Matt was happy about that. Anyways, well we all had a grea time. As you can see from the pictures everyone was a little tipsy. It was a really fun birthday....but I didnt get to go to Disneyland like I wanted!

My Little Girl!

Over the past few months I have been to more baby showers than I can count. So since everyone has little babies to share with everyone and I am not yet at that point in my life. I decided to share my precious little girl to everyone. She is a cute little chi-beagle and her name is Lexie. I got her for christmas two years ago and she has been my best friend ever since. It is like having a child but she is much easier I think. Unfortunatly, my roommates said I could keep her at my house in Brea and then they forgot to mention it to their grandpa (our landlord) and he said the dog had to go. It was so sad, she was only two pounds and so small and I had to find a new home for her. Luckily, my parents knew how much I loved that dog so they agreed to keep her untill I moved somewhere else after graduation. Well as graduation approaches i am looking forward to having my little girl back! I do see her every weekend. I go home just to see her!!!
